Temuduga Pegawai Tadbir N41 ( KONTRAK)

baru  habis ditemuduga dengan dua penemuduga dari KL. tiring! sure it is. Although i didnt do much preparation ( knowing that it might be the same as the PTD interview last time) i just repeat the same note as before. but yes, this is much more challenging.

o ya, probably you might come to this entry to find some interview tips, what they ask and what the expect from us. not sure is this helping or not, but ill roughly share to you what happen during the interview.

ok, my session is at 11am. that was written on the offer letter. but before that i received a phone call at 9 telling me that i can come early, as i believe not all of them will turn out.

i arrived exactly at 11am and went for some document check by the officer in charge, and later he asked me to wait. Im number 6 and the current number is 4. so i waited.... ya, lama juga la. then it my turn at 1245pm.

after knocking the door and ask for permission to go in, i hands on my resume to the panel and sit after he invited me to do so. my Panel is Encik Zainal Ahmad ( Timbalan Setiausaha SPA) and the second panel is the same person yang interview me for PTD last december ( dont know his name) . Both are so serious, Which i guess the panels lapar sudah.  

belum pun sempat duduk, he asked me,

Panel 1: what is your current occupation right now?
Me : Lecturer
Panel 1 : before i continue, i would like you to know that this is not a permanent job, yet this is a contract basis job, that mean, after finishing contract for maybe 1 to 2 years, you are not employed anymore.

actualy that not suprising me, because the other candidate before me told me the same thing. anyway, that actually just the beginning. lepas tu dia pun la soalan power, antara soalannya ialah ( yang masih saya ingat la)

1. Siapa wakil negara di luar negara. firstly i thought he want a NAME. of course la, gila mau tau semua nama duta. then i ask, it is a name or you want or the general term. lepas tu saya cakap la "Duta" then he further ask, apa beza high comminsener and embassador. ok, panic sekejap. terus goreng, hahha. the fact is i get it right, but i get it terbalik, high commisener adalah yang di bawah komonwel, duta adalah selain dari negara komonwel. om fine, you got me there.

2. second, he asked. kamu pernah mengundi? then he asked about mengundi, apa proses2 mengundi, then i goreng la proses dia. then lepas i finished goreng, he asked, bilakah "juz" dikeluarkan. ok fine. pernah dengar, tapi xda ingat. then dia tanya, apa fungsi surat itu dan bila dia dikeluarkan. ok i make the wild guess to say it been issued between the waktu pembubaran parlimen. ( ok, tembak ) but i managed to tembak it right. astaga. fine, i should revise my governance notes next time.

3. Then he passed me to the second panel. i dont know, this Mr always asked me general question which i dont really know how to answer. General and broad. Soalan yang sama dengan interview waktu di PTD. Melihat keadaan semasa yang berlaku di lahad datu , sandakan, tawau dan sebagainya, jikalau kamu adalah PTD di kawasan itu, apakah skop kerja kamu? in my mind that time, i only think of  Kementerian wanita dan pembangunan keluarga. so i goreng dengan mengatakan," jika saya merupakan PTD di kawasan tersebut, saya akan menjadi orang tengah untuk mendengar permasalahan orang2 yang hilang punca pencarian rezeki dan menyalurkan bantuan2 yang sewajarnya. hahah. xda tau la ngam ka xda pengorengan saya ni.

4. maybe this is the last one i can recall. He asked why we need to choose you as one. I said i want to gain more experience in this governance field. i want to use all my knowledge to which i learnt in U and  turn it out to become a practise. Saya pun selit2 la yang both my sister and mother work in goverment sector, which inspired me to do the same.

Ok now im tired. guess i need to write more often. im losing my writing skills although im a lecturer. huhu.

So anyone, who is interested to become one . either PT or PTD, make sure you are strong in your pengajian am Malaysia. He will mostly ask question dari sana. Try to relate one event to another and goreng la apa yang patut. huhu.
